Well the hero of this story, that I bring to you today,
is a horse by the name of thunder Gulch,
born in the USA.
Found by Ireland´s Danny O´Burn.
And trained by D. Wayne Lucas
and owned by Michael Tabor
from Monaco.

Well the bets came hot and heavy
mainly on Serena song
with Afternoon Delights and Timber Country going strong.
The poor old Thunder Gulch was nowhere 25 to 1.
And it seemed that there was nothing to be done.
His race was run.
Oh no it wasn´t!
To a mighty roar the horses
started racing passed the stand,
with Serena Song and The Run for the Roses
up on the Talking man.
At the halfway stage these two
were leading them came Sitta Dee,
and Thunder Gulch was moving up the field.

Now the race was nearly over
just a quarter of a mile.

The talking Man has tired.
Ten Thunder Gulch began his run.
He´s coming on the outside and no-one could get near him,
everyone was cheering,
as Thunder Gulch came flashing over the line.
